Literacy Help for the OSSLT 

To help students prepare for the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) the DMCI Literacy Committee provides the following resources and support:  

1. A Literacy Web Site: Online guidelines, downloads and interactive exercises  should help students work on literacy skills and prepare for the test. 

2. Literacy and Test Taking Workshops: Grade 9 workshops are offered  in the DMCI Library, in April, May and June. Grade 10 after school workshops are offered in October, in order to prepare for the test.

3. A Consumable Workbook:  The Grade 10 Test Of Reading And Writing Workbook by John Moore from Tree House Press is for sale in the DMCI Library. Cost:  $4.00.
